On this day in 1776, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress, setting the 13 colonies on the road to freedom as a sovereign nation. As always, this most American of holidays will be marked by parades, fireworks and backyard barbecues across the country. Here are some fun facts about Independence Day:

  • 2.5 Million - In July 1776, the estimated number of people living in the newly independent nation.
  • 309.6 Million - The nations estimated population on this July Fourth.

It is definitely summertime and living is not easy……………outside. So come on down to Jonathan Fletcher Music store and cool off with one of our crazy deals on all of our gear. Recital News

Our 2010 yearly recital was awesome. This was my first JF Music recital and I couldn’t believe the size of the production. It was amazing! The students did a fantastic job. We would like to welcome Lori Daconto to the Jonathan Fletcher Music family. She teaches piano and has over 30 years of performance experience and over 10 years of teaching experience. We are very pleased to add her to our staff of excellent teachers.
