October 2008

Recently, a student asked me an interesting question. “Where did music come from?” Intrigued, I decided to do some research. I found that some historians speculate that prehistoric music began with early humans banging objects together in rhythm in order to ward off dangerous creatures from their camps. In other words, to keep away the “Boogieman”.

So to celebrate Halloween, Jonathan Fletcher Music announces its ‘Keep the Monsters Away’ Drum Sale. Come in and check out the Scary Deals on our in stock drum sets.

Also, bring in a copy of this newsletter and receive 10% off all Gibraltar Drum Hardware. This offer is good only until the end of the month, so take advantage before it’s too late

Friendly Reminder

We know that with sports, family trips and other activities, it can be tough to make it to your lesson.

Simply call us the day BEFORE your lesson and we will gladly schedule a make-up lesson. Please understand that with our current student roster, we are unable to secure time slots for lessons missed without notice.

Also, please keep in mind that there will be a $5.00 late fee for tuitions paid after the 10th of the month.

Tis the Season

As of this writing, there are only 81 days, 12 hours, and 41 minutes until Christmas.

Now is the time to begin shopping for the musician in your family. For those of you interested in easy, painless shopping, we encourage you to take advantage of our Lay Away Plan.

For only 20% down, we will hold any purchase of $100.00 or more right up to the big day. With all of the shopping out of the way, all you will have to do is sit back and enjoy the holiday.
